- Save and close any open files using the red X.
- Go to the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of your screen.
- Click on “Computer”
- In the right side of the window, click on “Removable Disk (E:)” to highlight it.
- Then click in the blue menu bar where it says “Eject”
- A small box will appear in the very bottom of your screen that says:
- Safe To Remove Hardware
- Only after you see this message can you remove the Flash Drive or you may corrupt it and lose all your files. Ugh!!!!
- You will notice that the icon for your Removable Disk disappears from your screen.
This blog was created for the students of Vallejo Charter School. It will be used for assignments and to provide graphic design students with information they can use in their class work.
